The Homes Exist

The public sector already houses key workers. NHS trusts, the Ministry of Defence, councils, and other public employers provide homes for their staff, often through housing associations and private owners.

Under Pressure

Demand often exceeds the homes available. Few schemes are marketed beyond the employer. Much of the stock was designed for an earlier pattern of work and family life.

A Cliff Edge Is Coming

The leases, nomination agreements, and concessions behind many of these homes are reaching expiry or a break point. The chart below shows when the employer support can end.
